I actually live down near San Diego, but my family and I go up to LA fairly often (or through there, since my brother went to college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and now lives in Santa Barbara), and I know the area somewhat well. Heh, I go to Disneyland rather often; every couple years or so. Yeah, I don't think I'd want to live in downtown LA, but it's an okay place to spend the day, especially Hollywood Boulevard. I don't think downtown would be too much more of a dangerous convention locale than Anaheim.
Speaking of residences, what's your life story? I recall from some of your posts that you seem to have spent some time in Japan and became familiar with the Urusei characters from a young age. Are you or your parents originally from Japan?
